We welcome all donations, however big or small, and every penny of a donation awarded to Cryptic goes directly to supporting the public work of the company, as all overhead costs have already been met. Leaving a Legacy

Leaving a legacy is one of the most enduring gifts you can make to the arts – it can also be an effective way to reduce inheritance tax, and it is simple to include Cryptic in your Will. You can; Make a gift of a specified sum of money, or a gift of a proportion of your residuary estate; Make a bequest of one or more specific items of your property; or, if you have already made your Will, but wish to include Cryptic, you can add a codicil (a separate legal document that makes changes or additions to an existing will). To speak with someone confidentially about leaving a legacy to Cryptic, please email us.

Trusts and Grantmakers

Trusts give to Cryptic for a number of reasons and our support for emerging artists and the development of new works is kindly sustained by a number of courageous and forward-thinking Trusts and Foundations. The variety and longevity of support from trusts and foundations helps Cryptic to maintain its position at the cutting edge of music theatre and high quality multi-media work, producing innovative productions commissioned globally. In addition, grants provide some educational activities to a wide range of audience members and the general public.

Private trusts and foundations have a long history of supporting Cryptic’s work on and off stage, including the creation of new music, artists’ professional development and core project costs. We are indebted to our trust and foundation supporters, without whose generosity many important projects would not be possible.

We are delighted to have worked with the many artists, directors, designers, producers, choreographers and actors who have benefited from vital seed funders, who see the value of a deep, varied and long-term programme of work for Scotland and internationally.

If you are interested in helping to support Cryptic’s work in the arts, please contact Jacqueline Farquhar on 0141 354 0544 or admin@cryptic.org.uk.
